Se #4: impersonal se — se vive bien aquí

Se + verb always singular = 'one/people in general': se come bien, se trabaja mucho, se dice que... With personal a for people: se ayuda a los clientes.

grammarB1, B2v0.1.0

Erklärung

Unlike the se passive, the impersonal has no subject at all, so the verb is locked singular: aquí se vive tranquilo, ¿cómo se llega al centro? ('how does one get downtown?').

With specific people as objects, the personal a appears and the verb stays singular: se entrevistó a los candidatos. The line with the se passive is thin; the singular verb + a is the tell.
